If you haven't heard about the Renters' Rights Bill... Brace yourself for big changes to the Private Rented Sector.

🔸 Firstly, here's our previous article with an outline of the proposals under the RRB: click here to read 📖 .
🔸 This is a Bill that makes provisions to change the law about rented homes, with items to include (but not limited to):
🔸 The abolishing of fixed term Tenancies,
🔸 Scrapping of Section 21 no fault evictions
🔸 Increasing notice periods for Landlords and Tenants in general
🔸 Banning bidding wars
🔸 Regulating rent increases
🔸 Bringing in a 'Decent Homes Standard' across the Private Rented Sector
🔸 Making rental properties more pet friendly
🔸 Providing more opportunity for Tenants that receive benefits to apply for properties
Here's how the Bill is progressing through the House of Commons and Lords currently, we expect Final Stages and therefore Royal Assent by the end of this summer:
