600 homes will be built on Boots site after initial developer collapses...
🔸 A major housebuilder has bought land at Boots' headquarters to build 600 new homes over 286 acres
🔸 Earlier this year, Boots announced its intention to close 300 of its stores across the UK, with all of them expected to shut by the end of the year
🔸 Developer Keepmoat confirmed its ambition to build "high-quality, multi-tenure new homes"
🔸 Construction due to be finished in 2029
🔸 Keepmoat is currently developing nine other new sites in and around Nottingham, building a total of around 2,700 new homes.
🔸 Of the 604 new homes on this site, more than half will be built on behalf of Platform Housing for affordable rent and shared ownership
🔸 Overall, the project will be providing much needed, high-quality new homes and significant investment to the city
