Key findings from Propertymark below:
Pressure on higher rents has eased slightly since the peaks of last summer but it has by no means gone away
🔸 Demand for Tenants continues at solid levels, despite the overall higher rents that the market is now getting used to
🔸 Tenant registrations currently at 91 per branch (down from 108 back in January this year)
🔸 This figure is very close to last spring’s strong average of 94
🔸 The number of properties available to rent per member branch remains at 9
🔸 Which means we are still experiencing low stock levels, with approximately 10 Tenants per available property
🔸 50% of Agents reporting rent rises (compared to 82% last summer)
🔸 Yes, pressure on higher rents has eased slightly since the peaks of last summer but it has by no means gone away
